RVA23 doesn’t force scalar execution to become deterministic. It simply makes determinism viable because the scalar side is no longer responsible for throughput. To use multiple REPLs, set the local variables julia-snail-repl-buffer and julia-snail-port. They must be distinct per-project. They can be set at the file level, or at the directory level. The latter approach is recommended, using a .dir-locals.el file at the root of a project directory.
